Please PRINT your information on the form. It is VERY important that you ensure ALL the information is correct!
If you have any errors (in spelling, names, dates, addresses, etc.), and you discover them after we have applied and paid for your marriage license; you will need to pay $50.00 to have your license amended (corrected).
Once we receive your information form and copies of your photo IDs, we will e-mail you to let you know that we have them.
We will also e-mail you a PayPal payment link for the Florida Marriage License by Mail fee.
Then, after you pay the Florida Marriage License by Mail fee, we will e-mail you a notification that payment has been received, and begin the processing.
The Process of Getting a Florida Marriage License by Mail:
Step 1: Applying for Your Florida Marriage License.
After you send us your information form with copies of your photo IDs, and pay the fee, we will go to the Miami-Dade Marriage License Bureau to apply for your marriage license on your behalf.
Step 2: Getting Your Signatures Notarized.
We will then send you the Florida Marriage License, so that you and your fiance can sign it in front of a Notary Public.
Then after you both get your signatures notarized, just mail the marriage license back to us in the self-addressed stamped envelope provided.
Step 3: Getting Your Florida Marriage License Issued.
When we receive your notarized Florida Marriage License, we will go back down to the Marriage License Bureau to get your marriage license validated and issued with the effective dates.
If we perform your marriage ceremony, we will keep your marriage license until we legally file it after the ceremony.
If someone else will be performing your marriage ceremony, we will mail your license back to you, to give to the wedding performer before your ceremony.
Legal Filing of Marriage License After Wedding Ceremony:
After your wedding ceremony, your marriage license must be returned to the Marriage License Bureau within 10 days to be recorded.
If we perform your ceremony, we will complete and legally file your marriage license.
Once your license has been filed and officially recorded, you will receive a certified copy of your marriage license in the mail from the State of Florida.
(This takes about 2-4 weeks for U.S. couples, 4-6 weeks for International couples).
We will also e-mail you a link to the Miami-Dade Marriage License Bureau website for you to see online that your license has been recorded, and order any extra certified copies of your marriage license.
