| • We are authorized by the Miami-Dade county Clerk of Court to take applications to file and process Florida Marriage Licenses by Mail. • We provide this service as a convenience to out-of-state couples who want to have all the paperwork arranged before they come to Florida to get married. • This service is ONLY available to non-Florida residents (U.S. & International) who want to get married in Florida. |
| Requirements to Apply for a Florida Marriage License by Mail: |
| • Bride & Groom must be 18 years of age or older
• Bride & Groom cannot be a Florida resident • Bride & Groom must provide a copy of a current photo identification: – U.S. applicants (Driver's License, Passport, Military or State ID), – Foreign applicants (Passport) • If either applicant has been previously married, they must provide the exact date (Month-Day-Year) the last marriage ended, and how (divorce, death or annulment). |

| Processing time for a Florida Marriage License by Mail . . . |
| • The processing time for this service is approximately 4-6 weeks for U.S. couples (6-8 weeks for International Couples). • Once your Florida Marriage License by Mail is processed, your marriage license is valid for 60 days from the date of issuance (anywhere in the state of Florida). • Your marriage ceremony must be performed within this 60-day time frame. |
| The Process of Getting a Florida Marriage License by Mail . . . |
| • Step 1: Applying for Your Florida Marriage License. • After you send us your personal information and copies of your ID, we will go to the Miami-Dade Marriage License Bureau to apply for your marriage license on your behalf. |
| • Step 2: Getting Your Signatures Notarized. • We will then send you the Florida Marriage License, so that you can sign it and get your signatures notarized. |
| • Step 3: Getting Your Florida Marriage License Issued. • After you return your notarized marriage license, we will get your license validated and issued with the effective dates. |
| • After your wedding ceremony, marriage license must be returned to the marriage license bureau within 10 days to be recorded. If we perform your ceremony, we will complete and legally file your marriage license. • Once your license has been filed and officially recorded, you will receive a certified copy of your marriage license in the mail from the State of Florida. (This takes 1-2 weeks for U.S. couples, 4-5 weeks for International couples). • We will also e-mail you a link to the Miami-Dade Marriage Bureau website for you to see online that your license has been recorded. |
